Dear Parent,

 

 Greetings from all of us at APS DK!

 We’d like to welcome you to the oldest Army Public School in the country. It was established in the year 1953, and has been responsible for shaping the lives and careers of innumerable students, including various Army Generals, lawyers & judges, sportsmen and media and entertainment personalities. We are sure that your ward will have a great learning experience in the school and will contribute to the legacy of this illustrious institution.

 

NOTE:

 

  1. Being an Army School, admission is open only to Army Wards. The process of admission of children in other categories will begin in the month of February, subject to availability of vacancies.

 

  1. The school follows a ‘zoning’ policy for admitting children. Delhi is divided into three zones & children who reside (residential address) in the areas allocated to the school are eligible to apply for admission. No ‘out of zone’ student is admitted in the school. The areas falling under APSDK are mentioned under ‘admission.’

 

 

  1. All admissions to the school are being done in an offline mode. You are requested to approach the school physically with the relevant documents. The list of documents needed for admission are mentioned in the link.

 

  1. As per AWES policy, students studying in an APS are automatically transferred from one APS to another. They are not required to appear for an Entrance Test (ET).

 

 

  1.  All Students coming from a non- APS school need to clear the Entrance Test. The details about the Entrance Test (date, time & the syllabi) are provided to the parents by the Admission Incharge in the school.

 

  1. The school uploads the list of new admissions on the school website; under ‘admissions.’ Parents are expected to check the website to know the status of the admission of their ward.

 

  1. Once the child’s name appears in the list, the parent is required to pay the school fee in an ‘ONLINE’ mode through the school’s ERP system, Digicamps.com to complete the admission. The complete procedure of online fee payment is also mentioned under ‘admissions.’   Please deposit the fee online within 24 to 48 hours after allotment of Admission No.The detailed process for the payment of fees is mentioned in the online fee payment.

 

  1. Your ward is now ready to become a part of APS DK!
