ABOUT SCOUTS & GUIDES
The Scouts & Guides is a voluntary, non-political, educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed, in accordance with the purpose, principles and method conceived by the Founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907.
|1) To inculcate unity, discipline and integrity among students through scouts & guides movement and thereby developing spirit of freedom and train to students. |
2) To serve the community through community service oriented activities.
3) To develop a well trained scouts and guides and to bring out many Rajyapuraskar and Rashtrapathi Puraskar awardees from our school.
|The Scout &Guide Movement is based on the following Principles: |
(i) Duty to God:- Adherence to spiritual principles, loyalty to the religion that expresses them and acceptance of the duties resulting there from.
(ii) Duty to others:- Loyalty to one's country in harmony with the promotion of local, national and international peace, understanding, cooperation.- Participation in the development of society with recognition and respect for the dignity of one's fellowmen and for the integrity of the natural world.
(iii) Duty to self:-Responsibility for the development of oneself.
Scouting Motto - " Be Prepared "
Our school reintroduced scouts and guides in the session 2010-11. Four teachers voluntary taken the responsibilities of Scouts and Guides/Cubs and Bulbuls and had undergone basic training course at Raiwala, Haridwar.

|Scouts & guide activities are held by Scout Master and Guide Captain respectively on every Monday and Friday. |
Cubs & Bulbul activities are held by Cub Master and Flock Leader respectively on every Tuesday and Friday
|Students are divided into groups known as ‘Toli’. There are 8 scouts/Guides in each ‘Toli’. Each Toli has its own Toli leader and sub leader. All the activities of Scouts & Guides are performed in Toli. |
Students conduct their ‘Toli’ meetings by themselves. In their meeting they discuss about their scouts/guides activities, camp activities, their own problems etc. The meetings are supervised by SM and GC
|An activity on needle work was organised in the month of July 2013. To basic aim behind this activity was to inculcate the habit of self dependence in students.|
|(3) Various activites like dance, singing, drawing and colouring were conducted in the month of july and August. A glimpse of these activites are shown in following pictures. |
(4) Awareness on disaster management and first aid was also given.
(5) Scouts assesmbly comprising of horse shoe formation, prayer, flag songs, pledge, prayer and flag ceremony are regularly conducted every Monday and Friday.
